Pop’s Roadtrip

I have real friends in Oklahoma. Honest to goodness we all truly like hanging out with other kind of friends. When I moved, that was one of the things I was most worried about. Silly Laura. It all worked out…like it always does (most of the time). About a month ago, some of us took a little drive to Pop’s, the Route 66 roadside attraction! So much soda!! So good!!

Lazy Friday

So I finally got around to buying new patio furniture.

Next, I’m adding a small herb garden and then I’ll be perfectly set. Want a hammock of your own? Yea, you should. Get one here! If you need me, I’ll be on my porch, in the hammock, sipping vanilla root beer. Hello, spring!

Nashville Came To Tulsa

My friend Nate made a visit to Tulsa last weekend. He’s one of the kindest most sincere people you could ever meet. One of those that makes you want to be a better person. Plus, his hair is awesome.

Unicorn Party

My sweet friends in Dallas put together the BEST going away party before I headed here to Oklahoma. The theme was cowboys, indians and unicorns….duh. Lots of yummy treats and a photo booth made the party more than perfect. Here are a few silly images from the evening:

Springtime!

It’s officially springtime in Oklahoma! The one and only Mr. Nate Lampa came to visit this weekend so we made strawberry basil lemonade and it…was awesome. So awesome. Awesome enough that I think everybody should make a huge pitcher of this right now! It’s perfect back-porch sipping material. Plus, it was SO easy.

Store bought lemonade (got ours from Whole Foods) + fresh sliced strawberries + fresh basil + lemon slices = so much yummy goodness

**I’ve been pretty quiet lately! New job, new home, new life means I’ve been super busy. I think I’ve about got things into a rhythm I can keep up with…almost. Still loving every second of it. Just trying to keep up with crazy teenagers again! They’ve got some energy levels that cannot be competed with!!**

It’s About To Get Photo Heavy! (part 1)

So…on this day off I’ve been running around like crazy & then remembered there are a few billion photos from my January journeys that I haven’t posted yet. Somebody named Laura Elizabeth is dropping the blog ball…hard. Await no more! The time has come!
